Outposts (Small Groups)
At Rev, we believe that people interact, learn and grow best in smaller groups. Doing life together with a small group of friends is a great way to share burdens and multiply joys. It's also a place where we can challenge each other to really grow in our relationship with Jesus and reach out to others. Small groups will be the hub of the church and our primary way to grow and interact with our community. We have two types of small groups.
Outposts
At Revelation Church, small groups called "Outposts," are the center of life and ministry. They're our primary means of connectedness, care and community among members - as well as our main vehicle for outreach in our neighborhoods and service in our community. Because Outposts are geographically based in neighborhoods according to elementary school, members will live close to each other. It's our desire that they do life together, meeting casually during the week for meals, activities and other family gatherings. Our goal is that 100% of all Rev Church members and regular attendees belong to an Outpost. Look for prayer meeting times and locations on our SERVICES/CONTACT INFO page
Re-fill and Re-focus (R&R)
Mid-sized gatherings, called "R&R" groups meet on Sunday mornings. They consist of up to 5 Outpost groups associated with the same elementary school. Their primary purpose will be to encourage, refresh and re-envision the group for the week ahead. They will also be our deepest level of Biblical learning.
